NPC: Pathways for a Just Transition, KwaZulu-Natal Workshop (imgix.net): Purpose of this report This report provides a summary of the inputs and discussions that took place at the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial workshop on 16 April 2019. This workshop was part of a series of provincial workshops that the National Planning Commission (NPC) is undertaking to engage with key stakeholders across the country regarding a just energy transition for South Africa. The aim of these dialogues is to build a consensus on a vision and pathways for an equitable and sustainable South Africa in 2050.

Governance and Leadership: The Under2 Coalition is led by a group of co-chairs and supported by a Steering Group to ensure the coalition is diverse and globally representative. Co-chairs, Africa: Hon Nomusa Dube-Ncube, Premier of KwaZulu-Natal

South African province of KwaZulu-Natal leads with community-focused climate adaptation: Transformative River Management Programme (TRMP) - this is our flagship project which we would like to showcase as it has a huge impact in terms of adaptation whilst also addressing uneployment in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.
